Our Lake Erie Charter Services

Our charter captains offer three basic charters: walleye, smallmouth, and perch. With their years of experience, they will make your fishing charter a true adventure.

Their qualifications include:

All captains are licensed by the U.S. Coast Guard
All captains are licensed Ohio fishing guides
All boats are equipped with radio, sonar and electronic navigation aids
All boats are over 27 feet long

Charter Details

Equipment - We furnish all equipment or, if you have a favorite rod, we will provide the lures you need.
Licensing - You must also have a valid Ohio 1 day, 3 day, or seasonal fishing license. They may be purchased at nearby bait shops on the day of your trip.
Lodging - There are several motels and a nearby State Park in the area. You may reserve rooms, cabins, or campsites for your stay.

Walleye Charters Room For More Charters
Lake Erie is world famous for its walleyes and our captains have years of experience at providing their customers with excellent fishing charters.

Prices for a walleye charter average $450.00 for 6 people or less. The trips last 7 to 8 hours. Most of our boats are in the water at "ice out". This usually occurs mid-March to April first. During that period, jig fishing is the standard procedure. Many trophy walleyes are caught at this time.
From May first and for the remainder of the summer, we concentrate on "drift fishing" with weight forward spinner baits and worm harnesses. This allows you to enjoy the excitement of handling your own rod, setting the hook, and battling each and every fish. Some of our boats are equipped for trolling.

Smallmouth Charters Shamrock
Few fish offer as much fun pound for pound as smallmouth. Even smaller ones are fun and a challenge on the line.

Prices for a smallmouth charter average $500.00 plus bait.
As with all charters, price is based on 6 people or less. In lieu of the Ohio fishing license, some trips require a Canadian license because we fish the Canadian waters.

Perch Charters fishing
Perch fishing is the perfect trip for fishermen and women, and beginners! Perch are easy to catch, the weather is generally beautiful, catching doubles is great fun... and ohhh, don't forget about how great fried perch is for dinner! EVERYONE --> families, couples, seasoned fishermen.

The average price for a perch charter is $400.00 for 6 people or less.
The yellow perch is thought to be the best table fare by many seafood lovers. Perch fishing begins mid-August and continues through October. In fair weather years, we continue to catch them in large numbers through November and even into December.
